ABOUT Hi! I'm Isabel, an independent journalist, producer and features writer. My work has been featured in Reuters, The Financial Times, The Guardian and the BBC across both text and radio. I've also presented and produced BBC long-form podcasts. In a nutshell, I now cover cultural trends across tech, business and money. I was one of the first reporters to investigate crypto and went on to spend nearly five years covering the world of startups and venture capital. During that time, I was nominated for Tech Journalist of the Year 2021. I was also invited on as a BBC radio commentator to discuss the major stories of the day and moderated dozens of panels around the world. I spent two years in Mexico with Reuters, where I worked on the Latin America news hub in a fast-paced newsroom, regularly interviewing business leaders and reporting on the region's political intrigues.
